I love nature and spending time in the woods and the ocean, whether it be swimming or mountain biking. I love the feeling of adventure and exploration, and I feel that journalism will give me a similar feeling to exploring the outdoors with research and interviewing others to create an article about something that I am passionate about. There are few things that compare to the feeling that I get when I get to explore what interests me, whether it be the hills around Marin or an important topic. I want to be able to learn more about the core concepts of journalism so that I can use them in my own life, even if I won’t become a journalist myself. I love my dog, Marcy!
