Each early morning as I (quickly) drive the 20 miles from my Oakland home to San Rafael, I shake with excitement (like my dog, honestly) in anticipation. What brings me such joy? I get to do journalism with these students. Few joys compare, that is, except for cooking for friends, classic 90s rap albums, and travels to new places.
